CarbonPump is a climate action standards developer, dedicated to creating real climate action at scale. We remove unnecessary risk and complexity so the bulk of funding goes to projects that deliver real, measured climate action.

The CarbonPump Project Standard specifies how projects create Climate Action Digital Receipts (CADRs). A CADR is a digital receipt for completed climate action: one tonne-year of CO₂e, physically measured, and issued only post verification. CADRs carry no forecasts, no forward claims, and no risk of reversal, and give buyers a simple, defensible way to make contribution-based climate claims.

CarbonPump launched and completed its foundation Carbon Farming projects in 2022, proving the approach. The Project Standard continues to expand, establishing CADRs as a simple, evidence-backed path to climate action at scale.
